- This is a brief description of how to work this wordprocessor.
- On the line below 1 stands for function key 1. If you press that key you reset
- the left margin.
- On the line below 3 stands for function key 3. If you press that key you reset
- the right margin.
- Similarly LINEi means insert a line, LINEd means delete a line, SAVE means save
- a what you have typed, QUIT means quit without saving, ALT gives you all the
- characters you normally can not type form the keyboard, REFORM reforms small
- paragraphs, and PRINT prints text.
- The numbers in the middle stand for the cursor row and column position.
- If this program bombs out on you try pushing F1 just after seeing the error
- message, usually you will go right back into the letter you were working on.
- All the keys on the keyboard such as Home, End, Pg UP, Pg DN, Ins, Del, Tab,
- backspace delete, tab and shift backtab work as you would expect.
- To move text eat the letters up with the backspace delete key, then move cursor
- where you want the text to appear and press the tab key. You can repeat this
- process. To get the tab key acting normally, type in any usual character of
- the alphabet.
- To center text on a line type the 1 while holding down the ALT key.
- To get the cursor moving slowly wait one second between times you touch the
- arrow keys. To get the cursor moving quickly, touch the arrow keys as quick as
- you can.
- For those of you with 48 K, change line 50 so that variable AMAP=66 instead of
- AMAP=133. For some of you, calling FORMGEN with trash still in your memory,
- will not work because it takes up every square bit, yet fits all
- the way in there!
- This program creates a Backup file of the previous letter. You can activate it
- through BASIC or DOS by renaming it with the extension TXT.
